Competitive Storytelling

Thick Plots Story Slam is a competition based on the art of storytelling where performers have 7 minutes to tell a true personal story.

Stories can be funny, sad, meaningful or absurd . All stories are valid as long as they are true and reflect the real lived experience of the performer. Audience votes anonymously using voting cards for their favorite story-teller of the night who goes on to become Slam Champion.The winner of the Slam receives cash prize along with the Thick Plots Champions Belt.
